Premier’s IELTS Test 2 (IELTS Writing) - Task 1 & Task 2
Task 1 (Premier’s IELTS Writing Test 2 )
Câu hỏi : The table below gives details of world electricity production by renewable sources in the four years between 2009 and 2012. Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

In particular, with the starting point at just 21 in 2009, solar energy was used to generate the amount of electricity up to 51.3 in two years later before reaching 104.5 TWh in 2012. The amounts of electricity made from wind energy held the second rank in terms of the growth speed with 276.4 in 2009 and then, went up to 534 TWh in 2012.
Meanwhile, the quantities of electricity regenerated from sources of bio-mass and hydraulic rose considerably. Specifically, the figures for bio-mass were 246.8 in 2009 prior to improving to 288.9 in 2010 and hitting 326.2 TWh in 2012. The numbers for the other source were nearly 3664 in 2012 after commencing with 3329 TWh in three years early. Eventually, geothermal energy manufactured the amounts of electricity with a negligible increase when the figures were just 67.4 in 2009 and 70.4 TWh in 2012. (203 words)

Task 2 (Premier’s IELTS Writing Test 2 )
Câu hỏi : Childhood obesity is becoming a problem throughout the developed world. Because of this, some people think that adverts for fast food, sweets, and sugary snacks should not allowed in schools and colleges. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion? Give reasons for your answers and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge and experience.
Mở Bài
There is an increasing concern amongst some people about whether advertisements for fast food, sweets, and sugary snacks should be prohibited from schools and colleges to prevent childhood obesity. In my viewpoint, it is quite absurd to agree with this opinion.
Thân Bài 1
On the one hand, there is likely to be discrimination against companies or producers specializing in producing fatty foods. Most of them reserve their rights to promote goods and services provided that they are legal and able to meet customers’ needs, including fatty foods. In essence, they need to raise awareness amongst prospective customers, which might be ensured in schools or colleges. Besides, on the consumer side, they also need to be aware of kinds of food suitable for their eating habits or hobbies. Should we prevent adverts for fast food, sweets, and sugary snacks from being placed in schools and colleges, justifiably, interested pupils and students might not retain their fundamental right of accessing information.
Thân Bài 2
On the other hand, there is no guarantee about the effectiveness once we inhibit these adverts. Indeed, we should consider other solutions to reduce the rate of childhood obesity rather than simply suspending advertisements. For example, it is worthwhile to propagate the negative effects of fatty foods to juvenile people or supplement the curriculum with PE courses and workshops about the consequence of healthy diets. Also, in place of not allowing adverts, schools can have moderate control about where they should be visible and contents on them. In this way, we might limit access to and impose the right censorship on these adverts.
Kết Bài
For the reasons mentioned above, it seems to me that we should not prohibit advertisements for fast food, sweets, and sugary snacks from schools and colleges since this is discrimination against involved companies and this is not an effective solution for inhibiting childhood obesity. (304 words)
