Out of these choices, I think I will give my friend Vietnamese coffee. There are some reasons for this choice.
Initially, I suppose that a domestically produced present like Vietnamese coffee is something meaningful and valuable to my foreign friend. Vietnam has been well-known as a home of coffee, so it’s a great idea to give him/her such a local delicacy. Besides, my friend is keen on enjoying special drinks which help him/her relax after tiring school. So, I believe that coffee, a beverage with a strong flavor, is a good choice. When he/she drinks it, while chilling out with delicious flavor, he/she also remembers me, which helps bond our relationship despite the distances of time and space.
Meanwhile, should I give my friend a conical hat, I think he/she will not like it much because it’s quite strange to a foreigner like him/her despite the fact that a conical hat is also a symbol of Vietnam. Moreover, I consider it an impractical idea simply because, you know, England is known as a home of fog. This means sunny days are quite rare in this country, so my friend could not have chances to use it in reality.
And, a silk handkerchief, I reckon that it’s similar to the conical hat when it comes to my friend’s unfamiliarity with it. More importantly, it would be terrible if we bought a silk handkerchief allergic to his/her skin.
In a nutshell, I believe that I should give my friends Vietnamese coffee on the occasion of my visit to England.

Because it allows them the opportunity to do some of the tasks listed below, living alone is advantageous to a student’s development of maturity and autonomy.
First, students can learn how to take responsibility on their own once they live alone. In fact, an independent life means that students do not rely on anyone else, such as their parents or relatives. This also encourages them to become autonomous when encountering any matters in life. In the long run, with highly improved problem-solving skills, they can become wiser and clever to succeed in studying and life.
Second, it would appear that living alone facilitates students, especially freshmen, to learn and practice soft skills. Out of the problem-solving skills mentioned above, students can hone others interpersonal skills, like time-management and self-study. That no one lives together means that they cannot count on reminders or supports from others. They must depend on themselves and this gives them a chance to become better and better.
Finally, the heart of this matter, staying focused on studying is something essential for those who live alone. Being a students makes them get priority for studying and practicing. In this way, they could get decent study performance and further, success in their future. This does not mean that they separate themselves from others, they still need friends to keep interaction and communication. However, living alone helps them spend useful time on studying.
For the reasons mentioned above, I hold the belief that living alone is really beneficial to students’ maturity and autonomy.

Part 2 (Essay - About 250 words)
It is undeniable that deforestation is one of the illegal activities putting the living environment for both flora and faunaat a highly alarming rate in this day and age. While indicating some tangible effects which this exerts on the environment, this essay also suggests some solutions to eradicate it.
The destruction of wildlife habitat as well as the highly increasing pollution levels can be ascribed to the widespread deforestation in the world. Although commercially beneficial, illegal logging activities have threatened natural habitats for a series of wild plants and animals. Consequently, they lose their sources of water, food, and reproduction for survival, thereby being put on the verge of extinction. Besides, when there is no adequate protection of green spaces like forests, the possibility of air pollution and natural disasters is becoming clearer than they have ever been. Forests are considered the green lungs of the Earth which help release a large amount of oxygen and absorb carbon dioxide. Moreover, human beings are also prevented from disasters, such as floods and storms by means of woods. As a consequence, deforestation means that we ourselves are degrading the environment and putting other flora and fauna in danger.
The idea here is that it behooves us to have practical solutions to this problem. Firstly, punitive measures are at the core of the efforts to cope with this situation. Anyone who commits crimes of deforestation must be punished severely for their violation, which also contributes to acting as a deterrent to others against destroying forests. Secondly, long-term policies at the national level regarding afforestation and deforestation play an integral part in greening parts of every country, including rural and urban areas. In this way, we could mitigate the aforementioned influences in an effort to provide species of creatures natural habitats and limit the risks of air pollution as well as natural disasters.
In conclusion, it is my firm conviction that deforestation can result in negative impacts which can be controlled with hands-on solutions. (331 words)
