Câu hỏi : Some experts believe that it is better for children to begin learning a foreign language at primary school rather than secondary school. Do the advantages of this outweigh the disadvantages?
Mở Bài
Learning a foreign language plays an important role for children and some professionals opine that this should be conducted when they attend primary school. While admitting some drawbacks of this opinion, I suppose that we need pay more attention to its benefits.
Thân Bài 1
On the one hand, our children could be in the face of adversities if this idea comes in reality. Indeed, they are likely to have difficulty absorbing a new language whereas they could not be fluent in their mother tongue. The feasibility of this is an open question inasmuch as the full development of a child’s brain is proven to be not complete until reaching puberty, which causes them conspicuous problems related to the abilities to think, analyze and remember. Moreover, the more time we let our kids spend on learning, the less leisure time they could have. They might endure profound pressure and this could not ensure their physical and mental well-being.
Thân Bài 2
However, the advantages that this point shows are worth considering. Evidence suggests once our youngsters embark on studying a foreign language soon at primary school, they could be easily familiar with it in the long run. In this way, they will gain cumulative knowledge and skills provided we let them learn moderately and avoid putting much pressure on them. Besides, these days, studying a foreign language like English or Spanish at an early age could help open the doors to many horizons for children with a promising future.
Thân Bài 3
There is an intimate connection between mastering another language and succeeding in work and life. In fact, this throws into sharp relief when our kids could use foreign languages to study abroad in the future or access a reservoir of knowledge without worrying about the barrier of languages.

In conclusion, it seems to me that this aforementioned opinion contains the pros and cons. However, I subscribe to the view that the advantages of this outweigh the disadvantages. (323 words).
