The plans illustrate the layout of a small town named Islip at the present and show changes in its facilities in the future.
Overall, the layout of the town is expected to witness the changes predominantly in its central zone. The most noticeable change would be the appearance of some infrastructure for travelling and shopping.

Amid the town, the space for housing now would be supplemented with a new housing zone towards the Southeast and next to the park. The existing housing area would be sited on the opposite side of it, facing west. Besides, the 2 rows of shops and the Main road are likely to undergo some changes. First, the central row and the Main road would be relocated in the South of the town in a negligible distance to make room for the street of pedestrians only. Second, the other is liable to be divided into small sections including a bus station, shopping centre, car park, and new housing from west to east to the North of the town.

Outside the town, the construction of dual carriageway surrounding facilities in the town is noticeable. This way would connect to the center of the town through an entrance in the Northeastern direction.

Task 2 (Cambridge 12 Test 6 IELTS Writing)

Câu hỏi : At the present time, the population of some countries includes a relatively large number of young adults, compared with the number of older people. Do the advantages of this situation outweigh the disadvantages?
Mở Bài

There is an increasing tendency in some countries’ population density in which the number of juvenile adults is higher than that of older people. While admitting the pros and cons in consequence of this, this essay tends towards the viewpoint that the benefits of this situation outweigh the drawbacks.

Thân Bài 1

On the one hand, it is undeniable that a society with a large number of young people might embody many disadvantages. A profound lack of experience in work and life is a serious consequence of this issue. The young are not often furnished with enough essential soft skills to have adaptability as the old, so the ability to resolve problems is not as flexible as senior citizens. Also, the young population can be considered to be the main reason why the proliferation of social evils and youth-related crimes. Evidence suggests many young people have a superficial understanding in terms of matters in life and most of them have an appetite for showing themselves in a negative way. Therefore, their society might endure the high incidence of social problems as crimes of murder, sex, and robbery.

Thân Bài 2

On the other hand, a society with many young people may take advantage of this situation’s benefits. Initially, almost all the juvenile people these days have the enthusiasm and they are open-minded about many issues. This is because they are willing to embrace new ideas, have foray into new challenges in lieu of erring on the side of caution when facing them. Besides, the creativity of the juvenile generation is directly proportional to the success in their careers and contribution for the community. This helps pave the way for the rejuvenation of pivotal fields in a modern society like the economy, science, technology, and intellectual properties

Kết Bài

In conclusion, for the reasons mentioned above, it is worthwhile to consider that the young population is beneficial than the ageing population. (312 words)
