The natural process illustrates the salmon’s life cycle known as a species of large fish.
There are four stages in this process commencing with salmon eggs and ending with the breeding of adult salmon.

At the first place, in upper rivers with slow moving, salmon eggs are laid at places amid reeds and small stones throughout approximately 5 to 6 months before hatching into “fry” with the length of 3-8 cm, the term is used for the second stage in the salmon’ life cycle. In this step, they migrate into lower rivers with fast flowing and inhabit here for a longer time, roughly 4 years. Next, they evolve into “smolt” form with a length of 12-15 cm and immigrating into open seas where they reside throughout about 5 consecutive years. Finally, they continue growing to adult salmon that are five times the length of the previous form, with 70 – 76 cm and ready for reproduction to trigger a new life cycle. (162 words).

Task 2 (Cambridge 10 Test 4 IELTS Writing)

Câu hỏi : Many museums charge for admissions while others are free. Do you think the advantages of charging people for admission to museums outweigh the disadvantages?
Mở Bài

People have differing views about whether museums should ask visitors to pay for their admission. While admitting that this policy has the pros and cons, I opine that its benefits outweigh drawbacks.

Thân Bài 1

On the one hand, in the eyes of some people, if museums charge for their visitors’ admission, this can exert some negative effects. In essence, this regulation might make the number of people going to the museums decrease. The matter of charge is likely to make them take this activity into consideration, especially those simply like it without really taking a vivid interest in it. Meanwhile, the operational aim of museums tends towards educating and propagating values in terms of culture, history, arts to people. Therefore, this policy might exacerbate promoting these values to visitors including domestic visitors and foreigners.

Thân Bài 2
On the other hand, it is undeniable that advantages of admission fees are deserved applying. First, museums could spend money on conservation. Many museums and art galleries may expend money on renovating run-down facilities or even investing in preventing potential damages in consequence of disasters, accidents, and fire. Second, as far as we are concerned, with the aforementioned aim of museums, money may be used for attracting more truly art lovers. Indeed, they delight in contemplating masterpieces, well-known sculptures, or historical documents that are too prohibitive for museums to own. Finally, museums can become partly financially independent from governments for overheads like operational costs or mounting exhibitions. Take Britain and the US as an example, most of their museums receive limited financial supports from national or local budgets to cover these.
Kết Bài

For the reasons mentioned above, although there are some inevitable disadvantages, charging for admission when people visit museums is superior to free. (287 words)
