Câu hỏi : Because of the busy pace of life, many children spend most of their time indoors and have little exposure to the natural world. How important is it for children to learn to understand and appreciate nature? Give reasons for your answers and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.
Mở Bài
It is undeniable that the hectic pace of life is making many children expend much their time on indoor activities and, as a result, they could experience by no means realistic and lively in the natural world. In my viewpoint, this is detrimental to youngsters because it is worthwhile for them to learn to understand and respect nature.
Thân Bài 1
On the one hand, absorbing knowledge in terms of the natural world helps broaden children’s minds. Natural world embodies a body of knowledge in relation to a rich variety of fields ranging from the life of fauna and flora to the existence of phenomena about whether, the environment, physics. In essence, children are known as people who have a sense of curiosity and enthusiasm, which makes sense in embracing something new when they are exposed to the natural world. In this way, children might bear useful knowledge about nature in their minds to pave the way for being conscious of the consequence of the natural world. For example, they might know that it is important to keep species of rare animals in preservation in place of hunting to converse the biodiversity.
Thân Bài 2
On the other hand, being well-informed about nature and appreciating it have an intimate connection. The more time they could spend on outdoor activities, the more respect they might have for natural individuals. For instance, when children partake in extracurricular activities in forests, they would be taught not to deforest and they understand how important maintaining green spaces for the survival of human beings as well as animals’ habitat is. Besides, virtually everyone expects children to become responsible with the environment, especially when they grow up. We might not discount the possibility of this because should do children know how to cherish Mother Nature in their young days, they can treat nature respectfully or even become pioneers in protecting the environment.
Kết Bài
For the aforementioned reasons, spending much time on open-air activities is crucial for children to have knowledge about nature in their minds to understand and respect the natural world. (339 words)
