Part 2

Out of these choices, I think my friend should stay in a dormitory. There are some reasons for this choice.
Initially, dwelling in a dormitory helps him/her build and develop a sense of community. Being a student means that we need experience living and working with people from various cultural backgrounds. In this way, my friend can prepare himself/herself for future life as an adult.
Moreover, dormitories often provide their residents, you know, students like my friend, with utilities and services available, such as department stores, bookshops, coffee shops, and even fitness centers. My friend can make use of these for studying and life in a comfortable and convenient way rather than spending time going out.
Meanwhile, should my friend share a rented room or house with friends, safety can be out of his/her control. The level of security of bedsits is not highly appreciated. Besides, the time regulation for renting rooms is not as severe as that of dormitories.
And, living with relatives, I suppose that there is no room for privacy. The older we are, the more autonomy we need. This is unlikely to have if we reside in a house where there is the presence of our relatives.
In a nutshell, I believe that my friend ought to live in a dormitory.

Part 3

There is no doubt true that there are a variety of activities that students can enjoy after school. While some people think that playing sports is a familiar choice, in my opinion, going camping should be taken into consideration because of several reasons.
First, like many outdoor activities, camping is a good way for students to relax after school. In fact, when they immerse themselves in traveling to the camping site and playing a part in a series of activities there, they can get things off their mind. Additionally, camping sites are often located in remote areas, especially forests, so they can get back to nature. In doing so, they can enjoy the fresh atmosphere and experience wildlife without being annoyed by anyone.
Second, it would appear that camping is beneficial to the improvement of students’ survival skills. It would not be an overstatement that this activity furnishes students with problem-solving and teamwork skills. When they face dangers in the forest, for example, they need to know how to use SOS signals. When they compete in games, another instance, teamwork practice makes an important sense to connect and share work in a group.
Finally, expanding students’ network of relationships is worth enjoying camping. Camping trips are often held with a large attendance. This is a great chance to make friends and have connections, especially for freshmen. Besides, enjoying a common interest in outdoor activities at the camping site facilitates raising understanding and sympathy among students through talks and sharing sessions.
For the reasons mentioned above, I hold the belief that camping is really beneficial to students.

Part 2 (Essay - About 250 words)

There is a tendency that people these days have preferred to have a family with a few members rather than a large family. In my opinion, the merits of living in a small family outbalance the demerits.
On the one hand, there are several drawbacks when we have a small family. Initially, the fewer members in a family are, the quieter atmosphere in a house is. Especially when they hold trips or throw parties, it is not easy for other members living far away from them to take part, thereby lessening the bonds in a whole family. Besides, the absence of members, especially senior citizens, in a family means that younger generations are denied access to knowledge, experience, and skills at the core of their growth in particular and family development in general.
On the other hand, the precious benefits of having a small family are worth considering. First, financial business is the heart of the matter. That many members live together under the same roof means that the living expenses, such as food, utility, and health care, are significant and increasing day by day. Meanwhile, a small family might find it pleasant to overcome financial burdens. Second, with many members or even generations in a family, gaps in age and thoughts can be a barrier to close bonds between them. Evidence suggests that the perspectives of grandparents and parents are often divided in terms of educating children or maintaining pieces of family culture.
Thus, with a nuclear family, in particular, it would appear that the members are easier to live in harmony with each other than those in a big or extended family. A life of hardship concerning finance and potential conflicts might result in unforeseeable consequences for a big family.
For the reasons mentioned above, it is my firm conviction that the advantages of having a small family outweigh the disadvantages. (315 words)
